DESCRIPTION:All Sections (youth and Scouters) attend the Remembrance Day ceremonies at the cenotaph in front of City Hall. We are in full uniform and wear a poppy.\n \nThis year there is no separate service in the Armouries - this year\, there is a combined service at the Cenotaph.\n \nAt 09:45\, the Scouters\, Rovers\, Venturers\, Scouts\, Cubs and Beavers will assemble in front of about 505 Queens Ave.\, north of Friendship Gardens/Tipperary Park. DESCRIPTION:Our Apple Day is one of several fundraisers that helps cover the cost of camps and experiences for our kids\, and the equipment and gear that supports those experiences. Without our fundraisers our excellent program could not run. It also helps greatly if parents can stay to support\, or can help with setup and takedown (Beaver parents need to attend with their child). New West shoppers love to help scouts\, and are inspired to give by seeing the youth that their donations support.\n \nWe will be handing out apples (for a donation) from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. We will be meeting at the recently opened Uptown Plaza at the corner of Belmont and 6th Street in New Westminster.\n \nPlease try to attend for a morning shift (10:00 am to 12:30 pm) or an afternoon shift (12:30 to 3:00 pm). Please RSVP to the invitation email and indicate your shift in the "Optional Note to Organizers" field. Even an hour or two makes a big difference.\n \nYouth will need to wear their full uniform. Please sign-in and out at the registration tent. \n \nThis fundraising activity helps support the various activities we do as a group and will also help contribute to the fundraising efforts for camps and gear.\n \nPlease dress for the weather.
