Release 14.1 - Key Features
New Functionality
- EMAIL: Add the ability to optionally initialize a new event-based email with a link to the event and/or the event description and/or the related requirements
- EMAIL: Group the email recipients by status: unknown→queued→(bounced|sent|rejected)→opened
Commissioner Edition
- COMMISSIONERS: Emergency report should include emergency contact details from each section
- COMMISSIONERS: Usage report, compare usage year-over-year
Signing in
- LOGIN: Show a list of other accounts in other sections that an email can access has access to
- LOGIN: Give ability to set default choice in multi-login
Schedule & Events
- “Show other schedules” now persists across sessions, so you can toggle between accounts and your settings in each will be remembered
- Event signups sorted by signup date (pre-cursor to “maximum capacity”)
Other
- Add “Allow maybe responses by default” option under “Account” | “Advanced”
- Add “Manage patrols” link under “Account” | “Scouts”
Miscellaneous Enhancments
- COMMISSIONERS: Eliminate reload of usage data if you just happen to change the results grouping
- EMAIL: Doing unnecessary saves of drafts
- EMAIL: Reduce number of refreshes on viewed old emails
- FIREFOX: Added explicit content type to HttpResponse so FF would stop whining about XML parsing errers
- Check for new scouters/youth having same name only checks active members, now
- ADMIN: Add migrateGroups method
- OAS badge requirement details auto-shown if search term matches the details text
- Warn against moving away from youth/leaders with unsaved changes
- Add a much more blunt wording when people opt out of emails
Bug Fixes
- Positively adjust licenses upon unlicensing oversubscribed account.
- Make sure volume licenses can't be converted to individual licenses and retain discounted time
- Fixed a SQL typo introduced in the last update
- Changed definition of MemberContactDetail.value such that it's not limited to 255 chars
- Intermittent problem accepting EULA
- COMMISSIONERS: Non-admin logins see vestigal <UL> group and header on “Home” page
- Created a meeting called “Mtg 11 - Knots” next auto-created meeting was called “Mtg12 - ” (no space)
- Add an attachment to an event, and the back button says “« event” in lowercase
- COMMISSIONERS: If you go to “Home” | “License” *before* going to “Account”, the current council will be -1
- MOBILE: The “Files” link is not visible for parents on narrow screens (i.e., no sidebar, but not in quicklinks)
- Go to “Camping Skills 6”. Click on 6.20, then on 6.21. It shows a “tally 0/0” option in the floaty. Northstar B2 also demonstrates same problem.
- No favicon for termsofservice.html
- Youth/scouters' health notes were always being highlited
- EMAIL: Switching between logins doesn't reset the fetched emails
- EMAIL: SS-598: Compose an email, add some recipients. Go somewhere else, then come back to the draft. Recipients are all gone.
- EMAIL: SS-598: Compose an email. other email addresses of youth associated with two-deep scouters are also added, even though they haven't (yet) been selected
- COMMISSIONERS: Invites to sections with ampersands in their name were failing
- Stab-in-the dark regarding server errors in which timestamps were passed up with timestamp=false
- PERSONAL: “Schedule” has a “Show other Schedules” option, but no way to add them
- EMAIL: “next »” or “« prev” can end up on a draft email
- EMAIL: COMMISSIONERS: disabled RSVP emails, because it doesn't work for youth/scouters in other accounts
- When looking at badges to add as related reqs (or when filtering them), there was no way to see the OAS details
- EMAIL: sometimes building Email archive creates duplicate entries, after email addition/deletion (race condition).
- Fixed a SC typo in Aquatic Skills 1

- AU: Process webhooks for AU on pioneertracker.com, and for all other editions on scoutstracker.ca
- AU: Augmented activeMemberReport with additional metrics
- Removed signup deadlines from “Reports” | “All Events”
- Added unsubscribe link to p2p emails, in a hope that it'll fare better with Hotmail
Bug Fixes
- COMMISSIONERS: EMAIL: “Add Everyone” was including “details” as an email address
- COMMISSIONERS: Usage report's “This year” and “Last year” numbers were reversed
- If you had a customized season start date, and that customization was removed, it wasn't being cleared by a subsequent “Reload from Server”
- Important Dates could have signups if you had auto-signup enabled for non-meeting events
- The method sortYouthBySignupDate wasn't handling correctly youth with the same signup timestamps
- Couldn't save edited youth
- One particular user couldn't sign in because of a PRC expiry problem
- Couldn't manually add youth with login email address
- AU: No colour swatches on the other editions' logins
- Info website 'Press' tab wasn't updating tab text correctly
