There is a now a formal “News Feed” in ScoutsTracker. This should feel similar to other News Feeds you'll have encountered, including Facebook. Source of News Feeds is currently limited to National and the Councils, but will be expanded to Groups in a subsequent release.

In addition to the National/Council posts, the current Pandemic Stage is treated as an automatically-generated post, and so shows up in the feed. Similarly, any account that has defined their Colony/Pack/Troop News will find it in this section.

Any user can Hide a post. So if you've registered for the upcoming year, or signed up for the Virtual National ScoutCon, or just aren't interested in the topic, then you can get rid of any post with a single click. If you ever need to see previously-hidden posts, there is a new “News Feed” item in the sidebar menu.
